This is the five-door Corsa that will debut at the British Motor Show in July, which is when pricing will be announced.
Vauxhall have distanced its styling from that of the three-door, as with the Astra. The Corsa enters a fiercely competitive market, with five-door versions of the Fiat Punto, Toyota Yaris and Peugeot 207 all new to market.
Interesting features include a boot floor can be set to two height levels and, if you spend the cash, a rear bumper with an internal storage space that can hold two bikes (see right).
Other options will include lights that shine around corners and a panoramic sunroof.
The engines are as in the three-door: 1.0-, 1.2- and 1.4-litre petrols and 1.3 and 1.7-litre diesels.
