Porsche has elected to take on the styling houses and released its own SportDesign pack for the Boxster. The kit comprises extra lips on the front spoiler, a redesigned rear spoiler and a modified rear diffuser.
Porsche claims the improvements are both aerodynamic and cosmetic, and states that the reduction in lift at both axles brings no increase in air resistance. The new rear diffuser was apparently influenced by that of the Carrera GT.
Though the pack is on sale worldwide, the only published price is for German customers: 4060 euros (£2800) with a new car or 3422 euros (£2375) plus labour to have it retro-fitted.
