Caterham has announced a deal with an Italian importer to sell its Euro IV-compliant CSR200 in Italy from this month.
Automobil Trivellato, based near Venice, is a family-run business and has been importing high performance cars to Italy for 40 years. With seven staff under boss Mirco Trivellato, the company will provide sales, aftersales and repair services.
Potential customers can go for a ride at the nearby circuit of Adria. Caterham claims the 200bhp CSR200 will reach 60mph in 3.7 seconds and go on to 140mph. Its UK list price is £31,000.
Caterham now sells cars in 20 countries including France, Spain, Germany, Dubai and the US.
