Chrysler has announced that UK prices for its 300C saloon will start from £25,750 for the entry-level V6 when the car launches in October 2005. From launch a choice of two petrol engines will be available: a 3.5-litre V6 and the £32,995 5.7-litre Hemi V8.
Arriving next year will be two additional engine options, a 3.0-litre V6 CRD diesel and the 6.1-litre SRT-8, arriving in January and March respectively. The 3.0 will join the 3.5 at the low £25,750 price bracket, but prices for the range-topping SRT-8 will be announced closer to launch. An estate version is also expected to follow.
As standard all versions of the 300C features ESP, traction control, xenon headlamps, rain-sensing windscreen wipers, rear parking assist, air conditioning and heated leather front seats. The 5.7-litre variant also adds sat-nav and a six-CD autochanger.
