Are you sure the button isnt a Lexus button then used by Toyota to add 'poshness' to a Yaris?

Its only a button, if it feels ok when you touch it and it works for the life of the car, which in a Toyota/Lexus is more likely than some, then it would do for me

The GS was put on sale a few months after the Yaris, so I think it was borrowed from Toyota not the other way around. And yes, even if it is the other way around and although it's not that big a problem if it works as intended, as I mentioned it's just that if they can't bother to disguise the Toyota origins in things which are easily seen, what did they do under the skin, in places which are not that easily seen? That and the fact that, personally, it just looks/feels all wrong in a premium vehicle and makes me very irritable just looking at it...of course, I might just be a strange person or have OCD tendencies but I just woudldn't be able to live with an interior having the issues I outlined above.
