Ford will offer the best glimpse yet at the new Kuga when it reveals the US market Escape at next month’s Los Angeles motor show.
The two cars, first previewed by the Ford Vertrek concept at January's Detroit motor show, will be the latest to be launched under the One Ford strategy, and will share 80 per cent of common parts.

The next Kuga will be launched at Geneva 2012 sporting a different engine line-up and front-end styling to the Escape.
The Kuga will also be significantly bigger inside and have a larger boot, tackling the main criticisms of the current car.
The new Kuga will reach UK dealerships by the end of 2012.
