General Motors is stepping up development of its most extreme Camaro variant yet at the Nurburgring.
The long-rumoured Camaro Z28 captured by our spy photographers reveals a range of muscular styling upgrades over the standard Camaro range, including a large front air intake an a new lip spoiler.
Although not pictured, our photographer claims the Z28 test mule also had some body-coloured tape on the boot lid disguising mounting points for a fixed rear spoiler. The test car’s ducktail spoiler is expected to make way for the fixed rear spoiler in final production guise.
The test car is also sporting 20-inch alloys wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tyres, larger brakes taken from the Cadillac CTS-V and a quad exhaust system.

Speak for yourself! I don't think it's intended to appeal to the Prius-driving tree-huggers.... Personally, I don't find batteries and electric motors to be a wow factor...

And if that is the case , german cars should stay in gerrmany , and jap cars should stay in japan.

Sorry, as fabulous as this car may be, American cars should stay in America,if they can't be bothered to put the wheel on the side their importing, then most people are going to be put of,and especially when you consider the fact when it gets to these shores it's double the price!,and what with the advent of hybrid power and electric cars, the 0-60 isn't going to be a wow factor anymore even if you like the noise a ballsy V-8 spits out it's exhaust! .
