Lewis Hamilton admitted that his retirement from the Italian Grand Prix at the weekend may ultimately cost him the title.
The 2008 F1 champion took full responsibility for colliding with Felipe Massa’s Ferrari on the first lap of the race, damaging his car’s suspension.

Hamilton slid into the gravel trap at the following Lesmo corner and has now lost the championship lead to Mark Webber after the Australian finished sixth.
Hamilton said: "It was clearly a mistake by myself, one of those things that happens when you're racing and you're pushing hard.
"It's not over, but it's days like this, and mistakes like I made today, that lose you world championships. I only have myself to blame."
Despite the error, McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh urged Hamilton not to change his approach to racing, saying: "[Hamilton] is an aggressive racing driver who, when viewing the slow-motion replay from the comfort of an armchair, probably wishes he had not done it, and so do we.
"But that is being a racing driver – and you have to go for it. That is Lewis Hamilton. I don't want to change Lewis Hamilton.”
The F1 circus decamps next to the street race in Singapore, where Hamilton will hope to repeat the victory he took at the track last year.

Lets face it, none of them is exactly chipper when it's not going their way. Sadly, I fear that come November, the points Alonso was gifted by Massa are going to decide the title with Alonso sneaking it from Webber with Hamilton third!
