Toyota says action will not effect production of its cars.

Chinese workers at Toyota Goesi, the company that supplies steering wheels and other rubber and resin parts to Toyota, have gone on strike.

The strike began on Tuesday but production resumed the following day after the supplier agreed to “review the pay strucute”.

Toyota said this would not effect production of its cars.

This follows the walkout at four Chinese Honda suppliers earlier this month, which resulted in a 24 per cent pay rise for workers.
