Supermini convertible goes on sale in May

Prices for the Fiat 500C convertible will start from £11,300 when it goes on sale in May.

That's £3200 more than the entry-level hatchback.

Buyers will have a choice of 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol engines and a 1.3-litre diesel in two trim levels, Pop and Lounge.

Manual and automatic gearboxes are available, and Fiat’s stop-start system is an option.

Both models have an electric sliding roof, air conditioning, remote central locking, a radio/MP3 player, seven airbags and electric door mirrors as standard.

The Lounge model adds automatic climate control, rear parking sensors and ESP, as well as Fiat’s eco:Drive system, which monitors the driving style and gives tips on how to save fuel.

Several different interior options are on offer alongside 11 different body colours and three different roof styles.
