Fiat has cut prices of its Grande Punto to compete with entry-level Corsa and Clio models

Fiat has announced a new, cheaper version of the Grande Punto. The new 1.4-litre 8 valve petrol engine will be available from £9200, putting the Punto into competition with entry-level Corsas and Clios.

The new engine offers 77bhp, competitive for its segment. Fiat has also confirmed that the Grande Punto will have the option of cheaper safety features, including the option of ESP for £200.

Fiat’s ‘Blue&Me’ hands-free system is now standard across the range. The Grande Punto will also be offered with a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.

Re: Fiat cuts price of Grande Punto

The Grande Punto revision should have included the 1.6 Multijet diesel, as it looks impressive in the Bravo. Is it only going in the Alfa Mito for the supermini's?
