Limited edition Alfa GT is cheaper and even more stylish

Meet the latest limited edition to appear in the Alfa line up, the GT 'BlackLine'. It comes with a Bose sound system, unique 18-inch alloys and black metallic paint, plus plenty of leather and aluminium in the interior. There will be 300 BlackLine editions made, and best of all they're priced below the current entry-level versions. A 2.0-litre JTS BlackLine will set you back £19,980, saving a negligable £15 on the original entry model, and the 1.9 JTDM example will cost £20,980 – a saving of £220. The top of the range 3.2 V6 GT hasn't received the limited edition treatment. The Alfa GT has never been the great performance coupe that Alfa had hoped, especially with competition like the Mazda RX-8 and Nissan 350Z available at the same price. Despite this, it's a great-looking car, and a cheaper, better-equipped version is no bad thing.
