Outgoing Renault driver leads the way in practice at Interlagos

Renault's Fernando Alonso topped the time sheets in the second free practice session for Sunday's Brazilian grand prix.

Alonso posted his best time with seconds to spare, beating rookie Sebastien Buemi in his Toro Rosso by just 0.043sec.

Brawn driver Rubens Barrichello was third fastest, with title rival and team mate Jenson Button in fifth behind Red Bull's Mark Webber. The other man still in with a shout for the title, Sebastian Vettel, was seventh.

In the first session, Mark Webber was fastest ahead of Barrichello and Vettel.
