Bentley has created a range of special-edition Continentals fitted with the design team's ultimate interior and exterior colour combinations.

The Series 51 cars are named after the year Bentley’s official styling department was established in Crewe by John Blatchley.

The first example will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show and will be followed by around seven more, all with different exterior and interior styling packs.

The interior of the first Series 51 is treated to Imperial Blue hide, Linen seat and door inserts and Newmarket Tan accents. A limited-edition Amboyna veneer has been reserved for the Series 51 cars.

The cars gain a ‘51’ badge on the front wings. Two-tone paint can also be commissioned, with one colour running over the bonnet, roof and boot.

“Series 51 shows how the Bentley design team would customise the cars if they had a choice; it shows off their best work,” said a Bentley spokesman.

The Series 51 models can be ordered from this month.
