Tuning firm shows off its new version of the Italian V12 supercar

Tuning firm Novitec has launched its latest modifaction package for the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

The Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is somewhat more sedate than the 797bhp version of the V12 supercar it launched last year. It increases the standard car’s 612bhp by 39bhp without interfering with any of the engine’s inner workings.

The conversion consists of new engine electronics and a new stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. The new engine management system comprises new mapping for ignition and injection as well as increase in maximum revs to 8550rpm.

The four-piped exhaust features a controllable exhaust flap, which can alter the sound of the exhaust note.

The adjustable suspension can be raised from inside the cockpit and Novitec has fitted 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear. A fully customisable interior also features, including a carbonfibre steering wheel and Alcantara leather seats and trim.

Aerodynamic tweaks include a new front lip spoiler, a new rear wing and a new rear diffuser. All exterior panels are available to order in carbonfibre.

Prices for the Novitec package start at 10,490 euro (£9150).

yes they should... because is insane, should be a 599 with 995bhp

that will be a number, a good one, but without superchargers, turbochargers or the likes...

still, long life to Novitec and to all guys that promote and tell about these insane things...

People should be arrested for this. Including people at Autocar for promoting it.
