This is the first picture of the facelifted Honda CR-V, which will go on sale in Europe next year.
The picture was leaked on to the internet by a Japanese Honda website, which also revealed the car will be unveiled on 17 September.

Although this date co-incides with the Frankfurt motor show, the car will not be unveiled there as Honda is not taking a stand at the event.
Changes from the current car's front end appear to be modest, but include a redesigned front grille, fog light housings and bumper.
No other details have been released.

The main news here is that Honda IS NOT ATTENDING THE FRANKFIRT MOTOR SHOW. Things must be bad if they are not attending one of Europes largest motoring events. As for the CRV erm whats changed?.

The C-RV is ugly. End of. It will only not be ugly when they totally redesign it.
That does not stop it being a decent car though. I reckon they'll be using the facelift to drop the 148bhp i-DTEC in from the Accord as it's cleaner and more powerful than the current CDTI. They may also do as Nissan/Toyota have and offer it in the other state of tune, the 180bhp version.
What else do you think from the facelight? Mild interior stuff? The chassis was actually pretty well sorted for a Honda - much better than the pre-facelift Civic and last-gen Jazz.

Agreed. Ours can feel a bit lethargic when fully loaded. I see there's a new Accord Type-S with a 180bhp 2.2 diesel, I'd love to see that engine in the CR-V. Since ours is nearly 3 year's old now - one of the 1st - we're not far off a replacement.
