New baby Rolls seen undisguised

The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been snapped undisguised and looking production-ready.

The car looks almost identical to the 200EX concept car seen at this year’s Geneva motor show.

New Small Rolls is called 'Ghost'

It has the now-familiar two-tone paint with the silver-effect on the bonnet continuing up the windscreen's A-pillar.

The car gets “suicide” rear doors and mini-Phantom looks, with a traditional tilting sunroof for the front.

The wheels appear to be smaller versions of those fitted on the Phantom and there are LED running lights under the main headlamps.

The production version of the car will be shown at this year's Frankfurt motor show, and it will go on sale late this year for around £170,000.

Rolls-Royce bosses have told Autocar that the car will be built using the same materials and manufacturing standards as those of the Phantom.

About 20 per cent of the components fro the new Rolls are expected to be carried over from the 7-series and other BMWs. Its overall length is an imposing 5.4 metres.
