Road Test
Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i 16v Club 3dr
Test Date 03 October 2006
Price When New £12,240
Verdict
The new Corsa is everything the old one wasn't: good to look at, good to sit in, good for covering long distances, and underneath some mushy controls it has a very good chassis. Unusually for the new wave of superminis, it's also more fun to drive than the car it replaces. Is that enough to make it our favourite supermini at the moment? By a nose.
