Verdict
The world probably doesn't need another coupé-cabrio, but Vauxhall's Astra TwinTop acquits itself well, with handsome looks and prices that make some of its rivals look poor value. The 2.0-litre turbo engine isn't a thriller, but it still gives the TwinTop character and performance; considering its bulky kerb weight, we're impressed the car feels as fast as it does. If you want a mid size coupé-convertible, it will be hard to ignore the TwinTop's appeal.
