Verdict
It's hard to avoid the impression that Toyota has done only as much as was needed to keep Yaris customers sweet. Actually it has done quite a lot and the gains in accommodation, flexibility, comfort and refinement are significant. But no rule books were re-written in the making of this car: a good car has merely evolved into a roundly better one.
