Verdict
The new Swift is a vast improvement over its predecessor, yet that doesn’t give Suzuki the credit it deserves. The Swift is a thoroughly impressive all-rounder. While there are certain aspects that could be improved — the poor refinement and some elements of the cabin — they don’t spoil the overall experience. For price, size and performance the Swift is without an immediate competitor, sitting neatly between city car and supermini classes. It offers adequate space, strong performance, impressive equipment and a stimulating drive in a stylish shell at an attractive price.
