Seat Toledo 1.9 TDI review - verdict
Seat Toledo 1.9 TDI Stylance Road Test
Test Date 18 January 2005
Price When New £15,025
Verdict
The Toledo’s considerable price advantage could well attract interest – and it’s an undeniably spacious family car of individual style and proven mechanicals. If you can live with the looks it makes an unusual, though not particularly accomplished, family car. But unless you need the bigger boot, you’re better off with the £500 cheaper Altea.
It’s difficult to see the point of the Toledo. While many buyers have the sense to ignore the posturings of car manufacturers, it’s hard to fathom how Seat’s offer of two near-identical MPVs makes it a sportier, more desirable marque.
