Verdict
Honda is to be congratulated for its bravery in creating this car. The Legend has fascinating dynamic appeal, an impressive array of leading-edge technology and is more than acceptably refined. But it's not cheap (either to buy or fuel) and it's short on space. At this level, a Honda would need stronger looks, a frugal diesel engine and a cheaper price tag to really succeed against the established Europeans. The Legend has none of these things. We still like it though.
