Verdict
The simple truth about the Crossfire roadster is that the slower you drive the better it gets. At 20mph it’s brilliant, especially if the sun is shining and the scenery is beautiful. This is a car in which to admire your surroundings, a car in which to be seen. The roadster is not the enthusiast’s choice because it is very little fun to drive it hard, but then buyers in the target market may not be doing that.
The comparatively low scores in each category don’t really tell the whole story. This Crossfire might not be clever, but there will be plenty of people for whom the car’s individuality and character will be a very big draw indeed.
