Aston Martin DB7 (94-) Coupe 2dr review - verdict
Aston Martin DB7 3.2 Road Test

Price When New £79,323
Verdict
Even without the knee-jerk reaction to a car of such beauty, the DB7 is a triumph. In nigh-on every area of engine and chassis performance it has what it takes to hold its own against the opposition and, in many spheres, shows them the way home.
Yet it feels unfinished. There are too many rough edges which deny it the five-star verdict its talents seem to deserve. These faults notwithstanding, the DB7 does enough to embarrass its rivals and join the McLaren F1 in re-establishing Britain at the cutting edge of specialist car making. The gates at Newport Pagnell should stay open for a while yet.
