Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2 V6 Q4 SV review - verdict

Alfa Romeo Brera x

Test Date 03 July 2006  Price When New £29,250

Verdict

 6 stars out of 10

We were disappointed by the Brera. The 2.2-litre petrol version is a competitive proposition, but at nearly £30,000 the 3.2 V6 variety is out of its depth. It’s not without appeal if you want a refined, interesting-looking touring car, but this is an Alfa Romeo and, perhaps naïvely, we were hoping for more. As it is, it’s too slow, too fat and too dull to drive to cut it against the best in the class.
