The view out over the bonnet is impressive, the lines of the louvers tapering towards the front, emphasising the perspective. With the hood up there are some serious blind spots. The sidescreens are almost more obstructive than helpful, though they cut down the buffeting.
A crude water-valve heater works well enough but is probably unnecessary; heat coming off the bulkhead makes the car uncomfortably warm in traffic. There’s a surprising amount of luggage space behind the seats – enough for a weekend’s kit for two – and a cubbyhole in the dash.
