This car needs little introduction: it is the latest version of the most famous sports car of all time. For 25 years the 911 Turbo has been the fastest and most expensive car in the range. Strange, then, that it hasn’t always offered the same driving thrills as a regular, normally aspirated Carrera.But there is a twist this time. The new 911 (from 1997) altered the traditional Porsche recipe and was bigger, faster and water-cooled. Could forced induction and a four-wheel-drive chassis make the new Turbo the most complete 911 ever made?
