In theory the new, improved version of the 911 GT3 should be the greatest road-going 911 of them all.
It is, after all, the most focused version of the most recent 911 – so for the committed rear-engined Porsche fan it should represent the point at which all good things meet to form the perfect being.
What matters more than anything else is the thrill it delivers when the world’s compromises are peeled away and it’s just you and the open road.
