Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 review
Nissan Skyline GT-R Road Test
Test date 15 October 1997
Price as tested £50,000
Apart from being a technical tour de force thanks to items like four-wheel-drive and four-wheel steering, the Nissan Skyline GT-R is also one of the most underrated driver’s cars we have encountered. Developed largely at the Nurburgring by a team of enthusiasts who know what distinguishes a fast car from a great one, the Skyline GT-R has already proved itself on more than one occasion within these pages. So the news that it will go on sale officially at £50,000, supported by a Nissan warranty, is cause for celebration, even if only 100 will be available over the next five years.
