The little town of Modena in northern Italy is totally unique. It has somehow fostered a very specialised motor industry which produces high performance cars in a class virtually unmatched anywhere else in the world. Maserati and de Tomaso both build their cars there, while Ferrari and Lamborghini are not very far away.
The cars from Modena have a way of moving, swiftly, surely and with tremendous verve, not just down the road in a quick spurt but on over the brow and into the distance at a speed that is deceptively fast and incredibly consistent.
