The new Range Rover and the new Mini have more in common than their wildly differing sizes might suggest. And they have both been totally rethought by BMW.When Ford acquired Land Rover from BMW in July 2000 work on the new Range Rover was largely complete. It is a sign of Ford’s total confidence in the car that it made only minor changes.
