Now, two years after Ghia unveiled the baby roadster as a design study at the Turin Motor Show, the production version has finally arrived. It must compete dynamically with Mazda’s perfect-handling MX-5, Peugeot’s 206 CC with its folding metal roof, the science fiction styling of the Smart Roadster and the four-seat practicality of Citroën’s Pluriel.
A tall order for a carbrio version of a car that first went on sale seven years ago.
