That a car as outrageous as this £177,600, 550bhp Aston Martin Vantage exists at all is cause enough to unleash the cork of celebration. But that it does so toting more brawn than any previous product wearing the wings of Newport Pagnell’s finest on its flanks is as good a sign as any that common sense and clean living aren’t the only spices required in life, even in the suspiciously friendly ’90s.
